Today’s All Active and Talent Team Event at The Arc in Chippenham was a brilliant celebration of confidence, teamwork and new skills. The preparation for the day began earlier in the year at Hardenhuish School, where pupils first started to explore climbing.
As the children took to the walls, their confidence grew with every attempt, climbing higher and pushing themselves further as the session went on. What stood out most was the way the teams supported one another, with children cheering each other on, offering advice, and celebrating every achievement.
Many pupils also had the chance to develop new belaying skills, taking on the responsibility of supporting their teammates with real focus and maturity. It was wonderful to see how quickly they adapted and how proud they were of what they learned.
A huge thank you goes to The Arc and their fantastic leaders, whose guidance and enthusiasm helped make the event such a positive experience. Their support created a safe and welcoming environment where every child could shine.
Well done to everyone involved — it was a day full of courage, progress and shared success.
