What’s Happening this week?

As we wrap up another fantastic school year of PE sports and play, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our primary schools for their incredible support, participation and enthusiasm. This year, we proudly hosted over 52 events, each one contributing to the vibrant, sporting and active community we strive to build and live in.

A special shout-out goes to St Paul’s Primary, where every child attended a Chippenham Sports Partnership event, what an outstanding achievement! The feedback we’ve received from various schools has been overwhelmingly positive, and it’s clear that our collective efforts are making a significant impact.

Looking ahead, we are excited for our upcoming PLT meeting in September, where we’ll discuss plans and strategies for the new school year. Our ‘Year at a Glance’ is now with our PE leads, providing a comprehensive overview of the events and initiatives planned for the year ahead, using your feedback from our Mid Year Review. Additionally, our website is being updated with new links for booking onto our events, making it easier than ever to get involved, this will be completed for September.

We are thrilled to introduce a couple of new events for the upcoming school year, ‘Find the Dinosaur Egg’ and the ‘Football Cup to Plate’. These activities promise to bring even more excitement and engagement to our sports programmes.

Lastly, we would like to take this opportunity to wish our PE leads who are moving on the best of luck with their next adventure. Your dedication and hard work have been invaluable, and you will be greatly missed.

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone for your unwavering support and commitment this year. We look forward to another dynamic and successful year of PE, sport and plays.

Have a great summer when it finally arrives and we look forward to doing it all over again with you 🙂
