What a morning it turned out to be. We spent the early part of the day watching the clouds and hoping the rain would hold off, and thankfully it did. Every match went ahead and the pitches were full of excitement from start to finish.
The standard of football on show was incredible. There was so much talent across all the teams, and the level of skill, confidence and teamwork was brilliant to watch. Charter were outstanding throughout the festival, winning all their games and taking the Cup home. Over in the Plate competition, Redland played fantastically well too. Their link‑up play was unreal at times and the respect shown between teammates and opponents was genuinely inspiring.
A huge thank you goes to our Sports Leaders and officials for keeping everything running so smoothly. Thank you as well to the brilliant teachers and adults who brought the teams and supported them throughout the morning. Your energy made a massive difference.
