It was a beautiful day for the annual tag rugby festival as 9 teams took to the pitch ready to play. Each team played 8 games and the progress each team made throughout the tournament was excellent to see. It was evident that the participants gained confidence with the fundamentals of Tag Rugby. Quick passes, well-timed runs, and strategic plays were on full display as the players worked together to outmanoeuvre their opponents. There were impressive individual performances, but it was the teamwork that truly shone. Players communicated seamlessly, constantly supporting one another and demonstrated the core values that we aim for in all events.
After all of the games had been played the final results were very close and both 1st/2nd place and 3rd/4th place were tied and therefore decided by try difference! Congratulations to all of the schools who took part – you should be very proud.
Top 4 team results were:
1st – Redland
2nd – St Peters
3rd – Derry Hill
4th – St Marys
