After a week of frozen courts and pitches (and continual weather tracking through the week) we made the decision to move the multi skills event inside over both the Sports Hall and Gym.
As always these events are geared towards having fun and it was lovely to see all of the young children hiding under parachutes, jumping over hurdles, throwing bean bags at targets and pretending to be sharks and bunnies!
One of the highlights was watching the year 1 and 2’s play the ‘Taco and Pizza’ game, where they had to follow instructions by 2 Sports Leaders dressed as fast food! Don’t listen to the pizza!
Huge thanks to all of the primary schools for coming to this event – your pupils were amazing and threw themselves into all activities joyfully, with lots of enthusiasm and big smiles! What more could we ask for?!
