Another fantastic display for rugby skills, teamwork and enthusiasm for our 2024 tournament! With 13 teams entered it was exciting from start to finish with some very close matches and each team showing progress as they got used to the pace of the game. The tag rugby festival is a really good way to practise skills like passing and running with the ball whilst applying rugby specific rules.
After all pool games were played Derry Hill and Monkton Park went through to the final. It was a strong performance from both teams but eventually the whistle went confirming a win for Derry Hill with a score of 4-2. Congratulations to everyone who took part!
We were exceptionally lucky to be able to run this tournament at Chippenham Rugby Club and we would like to thank CRFC for all their support of the partnership; not only in terms of letting us use their amazing facilities but also for providing all participants with a hotdog after their efforts!
