What a brilliant, sun-soaked day at the Chippenham Primary Schools TAG Rugby event hosted at Chippenham RFC.
Year 5/6 pupils lit up the pitches with incredible speed, agility and teamwork — weaving with balance through defenders and scoring plenty of fantastic tries. The effort, determination and sportsmanship on show from every school made the event a real celebration of primary sport.
A huge well done to everyone who took part, and massive congratulations to St Pauls for being crowned champions. An excellent performance also from Queens Crescent A finishing in 2nd place, and St Marys securing 3rd — a superb achievement all round.
A special mention to Jack from the Bath Rugby Foundation, who led a fantastic skills zone. This gave the children the opportunity to develop their understanding, build confidence, and then take their new skills straight onto the pitch — brilliant to see learning in action.
