This morning saw a fantastic turnout for our Under the Sea-themed Multi-Skills Event, with Key Stage One children from across the town coming together for a fun-filled session focused on developing their fundamental movement skills.
The event featured a vibrant range of activity stations designed to enhance skills such as running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance, and coordination. Each station was led by our enthusiastic and well-prepared secondary sports leaders, who did a brilliant job bringing energy and imagination to every activity.
Children were immersed in an underwater adventure, swimming through the sea, running under the parachute like ocean waves, walking sideways like crabs, stealing fish food from hidden nests, and much more! The engaging, creative challenges kept the children moving, smiling, and learning throughout the morning.
A huge well done to all the children who took part so brilliantly and a big thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success.
It was wonderful to see so many schools and young children coming together to be active, develop skills, and have fun. We look forward to seeing everyone again at future events!
