πŸŽ‰ Our Day at the Chippenham Games

The Chippenham Games is an exciting and unforgettable experience for our Yr6 children! Held at the stunning Stanley Park, we arrived to cheering, music, and an atmosphere full of energy and fun. It felt like stepping into our own mini Olympics!

Every child was given a special Chippenham Games t-shirt to wear, which made us feel part of something amazing – and at the end of the day, we were all proudly presented with our own medal, just like real Olympians! πŸ…

Throughout the day, we got to try so many brilliant activities:
🎯 Archery
β›³ Golf
πŸ₯‹ Martial arts
🚲 Indo boarding
πŸ₯… Barclays Girls’ Football
🎭 JAX Dance
🏸 Tukeball
πŸ₯ Lacrosse
πŸ”« Laser pistol shooting
🎨 And even face painting!

There was something for everyone β€” whether we loved sport, movement, creativity, or just having a go at something new. The leaders at each station were so friendly and encouraging, helping us all to try our best and have loads of fun. Our children made friends with other YR6 children in the Chippenham area and new friendship were formed.

We were especially excited to be part of an event at Stanley Park, with pau Harvey and supported by the secondaryschool headteachers, Chippenham Town Council, and celebrated at the end by the Mayor of Chippenham, who reminded us how important it is to be active, try new things, and support each other.

A huge thank you to The Chippenham Sports Partnership, Selina (Sheldon), Emma (Hardenhuish) and Jessica (Abbeyfield) for hosting such a smooth, exciting, and inspirational day. We truly felt like stars.

We went home with medals around our necks, new memories, and big smiles – already asking, β€œCan we go again next year?!”
