After the drama of flooded courts and no water, the rearranged netball festival was able to go ahead! We welcomed teams into the Sports Hall to go through the rules before heading to the courts ready to play. The standard of netball was great and there was lots of encouragement and smiles from all involved. We were really impressed with the progress each team made as they tried out the different positions on the netball court.
After all matches were played Monkton Park, Redland, Derry Hill and St Marys all made their way through to the semi finals. Two exciting games later resulted in a Redland v Derry Hill final! The match was end to end and with only one goal in it on the final whistle, Derry Hill were crowned Netball Champions!
Thank you to all of the teams who managed to reschedule to attend. It was a fantastic morning of netball.
