As a girls only event, it was great for all of our young footballers to arrive to an astro lined with Lioness Legends! After the warm up dance each school split into groups to get started on the football circuit. The Sports Leaders were outstanding as the led a range of different football based activities which developed everyone’s dribbling, passing and shooting skills. Whilst these have physical benefits they also promoted teamwork, cooperation, and social interaction, fostering communication skills and friendships.
Despite the cold all of our girls got stuck in and worked hard to meet the football challenges they were given. We were really impressed with the fantastic effort they showed and hope that they were inspired to try and become the next Mary Earps or Leah Williamson!
