One of 2023s themed events started with nearly 300 excited year 1 and 2 pupils arriving ready to celebrate the Kings Coronation! After a warm up to dance to Disneys classic “I just can’t wait to be King!” groups paraded to the astro accompanied by the talented Samba band. Pupils then tried out different activities, each with a royal twist!
We were fortunate to be supported in this event by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant who delivered a speech to open the event, as well as the Chippenham Museum Photo Club who are responsible for the fantastic photos shown below. The photos from this event will form part of a display at Stanley Park which will be open to members of the public from 9th to 11th June.
