The first event of the year was the new Wellbeing Champions! A series of stations which allowed some of our year 5 and 6 pupils to explore ways in which they can improve their wellbeing whilst also having fun. Exercise plays a huge role in our health and pupils were taught the reasons why it impacts so much on both our physical and mental health.
They also had the opportunity to explore some breathing techniques, grounding exercises and teamwork challenges to focus on communication and resilience.
One of our favourite stations was where pupils reflected on their own personal strengths. Quite often in life we put ourselves down and focus on the negatives, however celebrating what makes you unique can really help improve your mood.
